INDICATIONS FOR USE
Β The vaccineΒ is used for the immunisation of dogs
Β against colonisation of the upper andΒ Β Β Β lower respiratoryΒ tract, noseΒ andΒ throatΒ with
Β Β Β Bordetella bronchiseptica. It may be given alone or used as a diluent forΒ other vaccines.Β For optimalΒ effectΒ Β onΒ theΒ incidence and transmission of infectious
Β tracheobronchitis (canine cough)Β vaccination withΒ a multicomponent vaccine containingΒ canine
distemper virus, canine parainfluenza virus and canine adenovirus typeΒ 2 is recommended.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
This product should not be used in dogs when they are:
- Β
- Incubating an infectious disease
- seriously debilitated by another infectious disease, parasitic infestation or malnutrition; or
- under treatment with immunosuppressive drugs.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Β The vaccine is injected subcutanaously.
Β A 1ml doseΒ (one syringe)Β is recommended for
Β dogs of all ages.
Β Gentle massage at the site of injection willΒ help to
disperse the vaccine.
VACCINATION PROGRAMS
Β For the primaryΒ immunisation, puppies and dogs
should be given two doses of vaccine with an interval of 4 weeks between doses.
The epidemiologyΒ of each disease, the persistence of maternal antibody and the dog’s history must
Β all be considered when deciding on a vaccination program for a particular animal.
Annual boosterΒ vaccinationsΒ are recommended to maintain adequate immunity, and a booster is
Β recommended before exposure to possible sources of infection, such as shows, boarding kennels or
Β obedience classes, especially if more than six months has elapsed since the last dose of vaccine
was administered.
DEVELOPMENT OF IMMUNITY
Β ImmunityΒ develops about tenΒ days to twoΒ weeks
Β following the second dose of vaccine in sero-negative
Β dogs.
Vaccine is issued in packs of 25 x 1 mslyringes.
